KAI TAK SPORTS PARK


An unused creative route for the branding of a sports & shopping complex on the site of Hong Kong’s iconic Kai Tak airport.

The mark was created to symbolise the 6 main areas of the complex. As we move around the mark the shapes transform, a nod to the shifting usage of the site.



These shapes inform the brand world, linking together the creative dynamic areas of negative space. This is teamed with a vivid colour palette to represent the region of Hong Kong. The colour palette flexes depending on which area of the park the communication originates.


The shapes within the mark also flex across wayfinding, ticketing, print and digital media to create a cohesive welcoming environment.
